How long is Alec Baldwin going to be given a pass for his homophobic rants?

Has Alec Baldwin finally skewered the wrong herd of sacred cows?

Alec Baldwin had another one of his legendary foul mouthed meltdowns the other day, complete with his usual "four letter word" demeaning of individuals, including threats of physical violence.  

Although this emotional outburst wasn’t directed at a child this time, it was directed at another familiar target, a working class “little person” trying to make a living.

The “Tourette Syndrome like”  actor’s venom was directed at a gay journalist who had the temerity to report  Baldwins wife used twitter while attending James (Tony Soprano) Gandolfini's funeral in New York. That report has since been found to be incorrect due to different interpretation of time zones.

Although Baldwin has repeatedly insulted America with his language throughout his career….He seems to have a “get out of jail free” card that lets him slip away unscathed. 

The reason for the gentle treatment of Baldwin is that he is a member of the Hollywood left wing elite, “Limousine Liberal Division,” who never have to answer for their conspicuous consumption or outrageous behavior.

But perhaps this time Baldwin went a bridge too far revealing in a Rorschach test like manner, what his true inner feelings were with his gay slurs and crude homophobic remarks.

In this day of intolerance  under cover of being tolerant, will the left finally have to admit the Alec Baldwin elephant in their “tolerant” living room is a bigot and must be dealt with severely?

But in a flagrant show of the brutal double standard that is the lefts guiding star,  another celebrity is now being publicly crucified for one word she said over 30 years ago.

Paula Deen, a celebrity cook and television personality while under oath during legal questioning, was asked by an attorney if she ever used the racial slur “N” word in her life?

Since Paula Deen is not politically correct and not a member of the Hollywood “Limousine Liberal” class, a firestorm of outrage erupted in all corners of the media.

A firestorm over one word she uttered 30 years ago has cost her major financial sponsors and her very popular television show….It looks as if her 20 million dollar food empire is threatening to collapse, due to an orchestrated outrage directed at her by a left tilting media machine.

Does anybody grasp the utter hypocrisy of all of this?  Or is it just me and 100 million or so other aware Americans?

An unconstitutional assault on coal will be accomplished through regulation

In another arbitrary and illegal assault on America’s way of life, President Obama announced he will unilaterally toughen EPA regulations.

Excerpted from a report in the Guardian:

"Obama would direct the Environmental Protection Agency to begin regulating greenhouse gas emissions from coal-fired power plants.

Coal-fired power plants are the single largest source of America's greenhouse gas emissions – responsible for up to 40% of carbon pollution – and have long been a target of campaigners.

The Obama administration has already taken steps to raising standards on new power plants. But it has balked until now at imposing tougher standards on existing power plants – a measure which would deliver the biggest cuts in greenhouse gas emissions.

There was intense speculation ahead of Tuesday's speech about whether Obama would promise to curb emissions of existing facilities."

All of this based on a premise that there is global warming and it is caused by human activity.  This is not based on scientific fact and is hotly disputed by thousands of scientists and meteorologists around the world,  including 32,000 American scientists.  See Oregon Petition

Perhaps the Presidents announcement was timed to distract attention away from the many scandals surrounding the White House. But for whatever reason, it clearly illustrates America is evolving into a monarchy when the chief executive (King), can make a proclamation that will effectively place a hardship on millions of Americans with huge spikes in energy costs.

Bypassing the checks and balances of our republic by executive order, shows too much power is put in the hands of one person.

The goal of course is to model our policy after Europe where electric energy costs as a result of  green energy have forced some to choose between food or paying their electric bill.  See German finance minister declaring solar is the path to bankruptcy

Lots of talk about wind/solar/unicorn dust to take up the slack if coal is removed and other forms of fossil fuel are punished….But in reality, alternative energy at this stage of its technology will only compete as an energy source when all other energy competition is forced to subsidize them. Additionally the reliance on natural gas if coal is taken out of the picture, refuses to recognize the price of gas has seen wild swings in the past. It will assuredly do it again without competition from a reliable supply of clean coal to keep it in line.

The public needs to know what is in store for them if President Obama and the far left, achieve their goal of choosing energy winners and losers.   By first killing coal and then punishing other productive fossil fuels in order to usher in and subsidize "green energy," our modern society as we know it, can grind to a halt.

It is game changing and damaging to our society to let a small cabal of fossil fuel enemies decide that America’s most prolific source of cheap energy is no longer welcome to be used.....and then regulate it out of existence.

It is game changing and damaging to our society and our country to let this decision rest in the hands of one person.

America's energy future is far too important to be regulated by an executive order with an agenda.  Time to put a halt to energy legislation by regulation and let the rest of our branches of government be involved in these decisions.

Investigators confident a missile brought down US Passenger jet in 1996 - Shades of a cover up?

On July 17, 1996, a few months before the Presidential election pitting President Clinton against challenger Bob Dole, TWA Flight 800 took off from New York's JFK airport on a routine trip to Paris.  Minutes later the aircraft exploded in mid air killing all 230 souls on board.

Suspicions were immediate that it must have been from foul play since aircraft rarely, if ever spontaneously explode while in routine flight. US commercial aircraft are highly regulated and vigorously maintained under the auspices of the FAA, they have a remarkable record of safely transporting millions of passengers each year.

The majority of the rare commercial aviation accidents that do occur can be traced to human error at some level.  There are mechanical failures too...but when was the last time a "mechanical failure" resulted in a commercial jetliner detonating into a fireball in mid air?

Disturbingly, eyewitness accounts claimed they saw a "missile like" streak emanate from the ocean and target the aircraft just prior to the explosion.  In broad daylight over one of the most intensely populated areas of the United States meant there were at least hundreds of witnesses, including individuals with law enforcement and military backgrounds.

But according to the FBI and later an NTSB report 4 years later, there was nothing to see here, just move along.  A spark in a fuel tank caused a spontaneous explosion......That's right, eyewitnesses were told not to believe their own lying eyes, the government had it all under control, what they saw was just a flare from the explosion, not a missile trail. 

Time has a way of winnowing out the truth.   After 17 years, experts are stepping forward who were involved in the original investigation and they have some disturbing stories to tell about an agenda driven investigation aimed at a cover up.

According to a Fox News story:
The half-dozen investigators whose charges will be fleshed out in a documentary set to air July 17 - the anniversary of the crash - say they were never allowed to get at the truth. But they are confident a missile brought down the plane.

"We don't know who fired the missile," said Jim Speer, an accident investigator for the Airline Pilots Association, one of a half-dozen experts seeking a new review of the probe. "But we have a lot more confidence that it was a missile."

The group is comprised of people who worked for the National Transportation Safety Board, TWA and the Airline Pilots Association, all of whom have since retired. All six say that the evidence shows the plane was brought down by a projectile traveling at a high speed.

Couple this with recent scandals involving government officials including the Benghazi scandal, IRS targeting of political opponents, government surveillance of US citizens and the press corps.. People are more prone to believe a cover up occurred than what the government version of the case is.

Take it a step further and compare the timing of this "spontaneous electric explosion" to a "spontaneous demonstration" at our Benghazi embassy just prior to a presidential election and it might not be too much of a stretch to question the motives behind a possible cover up. 

The proposed immigration bill is a sham if it doesn’t secure our borders first

U.S. border's must be secure before reform can happen

There is a one thousand page immigration bill working its way through the U.S. Senate. Buried in those many pages is vague wording that “some day” our borders will be secure….We promise.

We have already seen how this current administration respects our immigration laws, by issuing executive & stand down orders to bypass current law that it doesn’t agree with.  

So what will be any different if after amnesty is granted to 11 million illegals, that this administration or the next one will decide to leave the borders alone and unsecured?

We have billions of dollars in illegal drugs being shipped in through our southern border AND it can be crossed at will by anyone that wants to pay a “coyote” to guide them in, or in many places, just walk in.

Of course our borders are pierced illegally in other ways as well, like over staying visas, coming in through the northern border and by ship along our coasts.

But the visible symbol of being serious about illegal immigration is the securing of our porous southern border. Until that border is secure, it is a slap in the face to all American citizens that an immigration bill is even being considered.

The politicians can promise all they want, but we’ve been down this road before.

When it comes to immigration reform, Americans want their borders secured first before anything else on immigration is deployed.

President Obama got by with a little help from his friends at DOJ, IRS,MSM and now even the NSA?

As America gets assaulted with one scandal after another surrounding the Obama administration, there is speculation more is to come….And that speculation adds fuel to a bonfire of suspicion that this administration would stop at nothing to win its' re-election.

The 2012 presidential election was really not decided on a national level, it was always about who could take the edge in the deciding 9 swing/battleground states.

According to polls leading up to the election, the race was razor thin between Mitt Romney and Barack Obama in many of those important states.

Hindsight is 20/20 and if the public knew in November 2012, what it knows today, would the election results have been different?

A characteristic lack of curiosity by the main stream media into any malfeasance by the Obama administration helped the President.  This lack of curiosity helped quell outrage by the American public just prior to the election, as our Libyan Ambassador was killed.  The cover story and the cover up by the administration to hide the magnitude of failure in foreign policy should have been a major campaign issue. But this news was suppressed with the aid and abetting of the major media.

Suppose the latest scandal of IRS targeting of conservative organizations and individual donors had been exposed back in 2010-2011 and brought to a halt?  As more gets revealed on this scandal it seems this was a deliberate attempt to suppress a major segment of opposition to the Obama campaign. 

How much of a difference did it make in organizing voter turn out and support for the Romney campaign?  Romney received 2-3 million votes less than McCain did in 2008.  Perhaps if the TEA Party and other conservative groups weren’t being bullied by the federal government, they could have at least boosted voter turnout and matched voter numbers of 2008. Many states prior to the 2012 elections had been trying to clean up their voter rolls as well as help stop vote fraud by requiring picture ID in order to vote.  This was in response to widespread suspicion and reports of tainted elections due to vote fraud.  But the Justice Department under Eric Holder, fought these safeguards tooth and nail and filed suit to delay any changes.  Did not having strengthened voter ID laws and other safeguards have an effect on the election?  Did precincts in heavily Democrat areas reporting 140% voter turnout help sway the outcome See Holder blocks Voter ID at every turn.

The recent revelation of how the NSA has collected and stored email and phone communications of millions of Americans is disturbing. Especially when coupled with the knowledge of how this administration has used the IRS and other government agencies to target political foes. 

Would it be too much of a stretch to think the administration wouldn’t tap into this massive data base to help get itself elected?

From today’s World Net Daily: According to U.S. Rep. Maxine Waters, D-Calif , Barack Obama now holds a database “no one has ever seen before in life” that has “information about everything on every individual.” It's a fact Obamas election team had use of massive amounts of data that gave them an edge in the election.

It's disturbing to know Waters made her statement back in February of 2012 long before the election and long before we were aware of this administrations abuse of power.

Any of the above factors individually, could have helped tip the election in Obamas favor in just a few of the close battleground states.  But if you add them all together, it makes it an unbeatable combination.

Bill O’Reilly’s 'Killing Kennedy' selects its’ Lee Harvey Oswald and will begin filming

In a press release this afternoon, National Geographic announced, the final major actor has been signed to round out the cast of Killing Kennedy.  Actor Will Rothhaar will play the volatile former Marine and assassin Lee Harvey Oswald.

Rothhaar is the final of the four major players in the film to be announced.  He joins Rob Lowe (John F. Kennedy), Ginnifer Goodwin (Jacqueline Kennedy) and Michelle Trachtenberg (Marina Oswald).

The upcoming two-hour original factual drama, Killing Kennedy by Scott Free Productions, will premiere on the National Geographic Channel later this year.  It is timed to coincide with the 50th anniversary of the assassination of President John F. Kennedy; it will air in the United States and globally in 171 countries and 38 languages.

According to National Geographic: “Based on the best-selling book by Bill O’Reilly and Martin Dugard, Killing Kennedy begins in 1959, at major turning points for both the future president and his assassin. John F. Kennedy is in Washington, D.C., announcing his presidential candidacy, while Lee Harvey Oswald finds himself in the U.S. embassy in Moscow, renouncing his U.S. citizenship. Bill O’Reilly’s mastery of storytelling artfully woven into his fact based books,  is proving to be a goldmine for the Fox News Anchor. His last book, Killing Lincoln, was a blockbuster best seller and made into a movie as well. 

O’Reilly has already announced he is working on a third “killing book,” this one titled “Killing Jesus.”   National Geographic Channel has already confirmed it is set to adapt this third partnering with the author and Ridley Scott's, Scott Free Productions on its network.

The face of Obamacare failure: John Edwards will resume suing medical providers

Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi, famously said on the eve of the vote for Obamacare: “To find out what’s in the bill, we’ll have to pass the bill”

Well Ms Pelosi, we know what is not in the bill: Any real attempt to get the legal industry’s snouts out of the country's multi hundred billion dollar medical care system.   Because of this and other failures to reform skyrocketing costs of healthcare, Americans are starting to reject Obamacare. The trial lawyer lobby, which is a stalwart supporter and funder of the Democrat party, made sure no real tort reform would be contained in Obamacare. One of the highest profile lawyers who has preyed on the healthcare industry in the past, is Democrat Senator and presidential contender John Edwards.  Yesterday Edwards announced he is opening up his law practice to resume his lucrative career of suing healthcare, after taking a hiatus for his political ambitions.  See USA Today

After suffering national scandal for an affair and an out of wedlock child while his wife was suffering from cancer, Edwards evidently missed the percs the income from his malpractice lawsuits brought him in the past…Such as a 30,000 square foot mansion and all of the attendant wealth that lifestyle brings.

At the core of John Edwards extravagant wealth and lifestyle, has been his ability to successfully convince gullible juries that a medical misstep, an honest mistake, or really nothing at all, by a doctor or hospital, is enough to reward his plaintiffs tens of millions of dollars.

Edwards’s courtroom antics went as far as to dramatize the events at birth by speaking to jurors as if he were the unborn baby, begging for help, begging to be let out of the womb. One of those cases saw him hit the jackpot for 23 million See Washington Times story 

But the dirty little secret behind Edwards and others like him, is that all Americans subsidize their wealth. 

Of course tort lawyers like John Edwards can claim they do a lot of good by weeding out incompetence and dangerous medical practices. But many in the healthcare industry dispute that and claim they do great harm to healthcare.

In reality, if the designers of Obamacare were serious about checking runaway healthcare costs, their main target would have been the revamp of the medical malpractice tort system at all levels.

Easy to understand changes could have been incorporated into Obamacare to stop the abuse of the system; such as creating medical/legal boards with the ability to suspend healthcare providers personally found to be incompetent or dangerous.  These same boards could be responsible for awarding damages to victims of medical malpractice, without going through lawsuits and the resultant out of proportion judgments.

Make it easier to fine/imprison CEO’s and directors of pharmaceutical, medical device companies who market products that harm the public, or do not do the job they promise. Make responsibility and punishment personal, instead of impersonal.

With a few changes and safeguards in place, malpractice suits could easily be capped by what regional medical/legal boards decide to be the real costs of damages.

But none of these reforms are in Obamacare and lawyers like John Edwards will take advantage of that fact, as we are all forced to pay the exorbitant costs of medical care that are baked into the Obamacare cake.

Americans feeling the pain of the lefts misguided energy policies

A few years ago Americans were introduced to "Green Companies" with cutting edge and promising names like: Solyndra, Fisker, Abound Solar and many others.  All of them were the recipients of government backed loans and almost all of them have gone bankrupt leaving the American taxpayer holding the bag for billions. Not only were these “green companies” the recipients of outright taxpayer loans which many will never repay, they were also on the receiving end of tax breaks and subsidies designed to give them an edge. 

For instance an electric car maker,  Tesla Motors, can get $45,000 for each car it sells in state and federal subsidies. The Tesla S starts at $69,000, so about 40% of its total cost is subsidies See: WUWT article

But to even tilt the playing field farther in their favor, the government under the guise of the EPA and other agencies was busy punishing the competition of the favored “green energy industries.”

Obamas first Energy Secretary Stephen Chu said his stated goal was to get Americas gasoline prices in line with Europe’s.  In California last week a gallon of supreme was 4.45.

The Keystone Pipeline has been delayed for years. More red tape and delay is greeting energy producers on federal lands. The war on the technology of fracking has delayed the capture of vast new resources of energy.

The administrations war on coal has been nothing short of a genocidal campaign against one of Americas most abundant and cheap sources of energy.  Ignoring the fact huge advances have been achieved in the clean burning of coal and more advances are on the way.  The government has decided to crush this industry with unreasonable timelines to impose their regulations.

Of course wind energy and solar subsidy campaigns are costing consumers billions and the unreliable power produced by these sources is far more expensive than conventional fossil fuel sources. Sometimes 3 times as much, when you count the hidden costs.

California has already warned consumers their electric rates will rise dramatically this year now that mandated renewable energy is coming on line.  Other states will feel the pinch of higher utility rates, as coal fired power plants are shut down and renewable mandates start to kick in.  See can’t afford to use the air conditioner

America is suffering unnecessarily from high energy prices due to  policies designed to punish them and foist on citizens forms of energy that are prohibitively costly and unreliable…..When at the same time America is sitting on an ocean of relatively cheap energy. Many European countries have embraced alternative energy at the behest of their left leaning governments and the citizens are now suffering as a result. Some households in the UK have to make a choice between buying food or paying their electric bill. See story in the UK Guardian
